Concrete Repair Contractors in Philadelphia

Cracked, flaking, or sunken concrete only gets worse once Philadelphia's winters get into it. APS Masonry repairs concrete across Philadelphia, Bucks County, and Montgomery County, from a cracked driveway or a tripping-hazard sidewalk to a spalling patio or a slab that's settled out of level. We fix the cause, not just the surface, and tell you straight when a repair will hold and when replacement is the smarter spend. Licensed and insured since 2017 (PA #139378).

Our Philadelphia Concrete Repair Services

Crack Repair

We clean out and fill cracks in slabs, driveways, and walkways, and figure out whether it's surface shrinkage or a slab that's moving underneath.

Spalling & Surface Repair

When concrete flakes, pits, or peels from salt and freeze-thaw, we patch and refinish the surface so it stops shedding.

Concrete Leveling

Sunken or uneven slabs get lifted and leveled to close trip hazards and drain right again, without ripping out the whole slab.

Concrete Resurfacing

Worn but structurally sound concrete gets a fresh, uniform surface instead of a full replacement.

Sidewalk & Walkway Repair

We repair cracked and lifted public sidewalks and walkways, including the trip hazards the city cites you for.

Driveway Repair

We patch, seal, and level driveways so cracks and low spots stop spreading. For a full tear-out, see our concrete driveways page.

Repair or Replace?

Not every crack means a new slab. If the concrete is structurally sound and the damage is on the surface, a repair or resurface saves you real money and lasts. But once a slab is badly broken up, heaved, or sinking because of what's under it, patching just buys a little time. We look at what's actually failing and give you the honest call, so you're not paying to replace concrete that had years left, or repairing concrete that should come out.

What Causes Concrete to Fail in Philadelphia

Our concrete takes a beating. Water gets into small cracks, freezes, and pries them wider every winter. De-icing salt eats at the surface until it flakes and pits. Slabs poured over poorly compacted or washed-out soil settle and go uneven. Add tree roots and decades of age, and cracking, spalling, and sinking are just a matter of time. Caught early, most of it is a straightforward repair. Left alone, water keeps working the damage until the slab has to be replaced.

How We Repair Concrete

Assess the Damage

We find whether it's a surface problem or the slab moving, so the repair actually addresses the cause.

Prep & Clean Out

We rout out cracks, remove failed and loose material, and clean the surface so the repair bonds instead of lifting.

Patch, Level, or Resurface

We fill, level, or refinish depending on what the concrete needs, matching the repair to the existing surface as closely as concrete allows.

Seal & Protect

We seal the repair so water and salt have a harder time getting back in and starting the cycle over.
